About
Emily Irish is a Brooklyn-based CG Generalist specializing in modeling and look development. She spent the past 3.5 years at Artjail, creating work for brands including Doritos, Domino’s, IBM, and Dr Pepper. Her toolkit spans Maya, ZBrush, Houdini, Substance, Unreal, Unity, Nuke, and Adobe CC. She is currently open to freelance and full-time opportunities in modeling, look development, CG generalist roles as well as other creative/ immersive endeavors.
She previously completed the Academy @ The Focus training program, learning from artists at MPC and Mr. X. She’s also explored AR/VR and real-time through personal projects and an internship with XR Marin. Most recently, she served as Assistant Director and then Director at an iD Tech Camp, leading teams and operations while sharpening her leadership skills. Emily is a three-time SIGGRAPH Student Volunteer, a two-time Outward Bound alum, and an active member of Women in Animation.
In her free time, she can be found training/caring for animals, cycling to the beach, boxing, hiking, or doing water changes for her fish tanks. She loves to step outside her comfort zone- whether dog sledding, learning to weld, or traveling somewhere new.
